Summary:
The Insurance and Risk Analyst supports the organization’s risk management and insurance programs at the direction of the Insurance and Risk Manager by administering insurance policies, invoices, claims, bonds and internal systems utilized by the Global Insurance and Risk team. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders, brokers, and insurers to protect company assets, reduce risk exposure, and support efficient project delivery.
This role will be hybrid requiring a minimum of 3 days in office.
Requirements:
- Support day-to-day administration of commercial insurance policies, including general liability, automobile, property/equipment, workers’ compensation, and other operational coverages as applicable. Supports insurance renewal activities as assigned. Administer forecasted, active and completed bonds for projects, contractor license bonds, as applicable.
- Coordinate issuance, review, and tracking of certificates of insurance (COIs) to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Administer invoices from multiple vendors associated with insurance policies, bonds, claims and drug testing, as examples.
- Support internal risk programs such as fleet, equipment, and random drug testing coordination where applicable.
- Coordinate and administer assigned insurance claims from initial notice through resolution, including data gathering, documentation, and communication with insurers. Track claim status, analyze claim trends, and support efforts to control loss costs and deductibles.
- Ensure continuous tracking of active and completed construction and development projects, validating that insurance evidence is issued, received, and retained in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Administer the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), ensuring timely and accurate entry of incident and claim data and generate routine and ad hoc risk and insurance reporting for business units and management.
- Assists with the preparation and tracking of the RES Random Drug Testing program, including administering the inventory of drug testing kits for site teams and arranging, communicating, and tracking laboratory drug testing as needed.
- Serve as a point of coordination between internal teams (legal, finance, HSQE, operations) and external partners to support effective risk mitigation. Provide clear, accurate information to support informed risk and insurance decisions.
- Organizes documents relating to legal correspondence, meetings, and conference calls for automobile physical damage claims; organizes and maintains files to comply with record retention.
- Handles routine operational processes and special research projects and performs project and administrative work. Composes various materials (e.g., reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, and other records) to document activities, provide written references, and convey information.
- Maintains various records (confidential and non-confidential) and files to ensure documentation for future reference per administrative and legal requirements.
- Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars to convey and gather information required to perform functions.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.

- Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Safety:
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
Qualifications:
- Highschool/GED is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/risk management or equivalent is preferred.
- 3+ years of insurance or claims experience is preferred.
- A valid drivers license is required.
- Ability to travel 5-10%.
- Proficiency with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, process control, and database management demands; Windows, Microsoft Office software, and intra/internet communications experience. Demonstrates an understanding of computerized databases/software applications. Essential Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio desired.
- Strong writing skills (writing reports, meeting minutes, business correspondence, and procedure manuals).
- Ability to organize work priorities and meet specific objectives under time constraints.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to represent the company with third parties in a professional way.
- Knowledge of basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Ability to work with detailed information/data and frequent interruptions. Functional competencies include communication, teamwork, attention to detail, prioritization, and continuous improvement.
Anticipated base salary range: $65,000- $85,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
